Echo Morgan / Xie Rong/ Multimedia Artist

"Through the mediums of performance and painting. I explore the intrinsic and complex relationship between violence, beauty, and vulnerability, re-examining how these antipodal constructs impact ideas of the ‘self’ and the body. My narrative is rooted with my family history. I explore my individual memory that is deeply embodied with China’s complex society – one that had undergone a series of philosophical, ideological and political transformations. I often invite viewers to participate, drawing strength from the audiences’ emotional vulnerability and feelings of uneasiness to complete the performance as a whole.

Marcel Visionary Art

Marcel Braun brings 27 years of glassblowing innovation to the visionary community through Project 33 which proposes an alternative currency based on glass coins created live in communities nationwide. Guided by the mantra “A starship in every garage” Braun seeks to empower individuals with the concepts of community currency that holds intrinsic value as art and whose creation supports community resiliency and permaculture. The idea was first initiated in 2015, and has funded its own expansion into the present day. Stores and artists accept “Art Units” for payment from coast to coast. In 2019 we created the first NFT’s tied to physical objects on the RVN blockchain. We’ve performed in Philadelphia, Nebraska, Illinois, Arizona, Oregon, Michigan, Nevada and Florida so far. The project is constantly evolving and my hope is that connections made at Ephemerisle will help us take the work to the next level.

Decentralized Cesar & Political Victory NFTs

Decentralized Cesar (DC) is, in essence, an oxymoron. Cesar, and the Roman empire he built, was the epitome of centralization and civilization. Empire has passed from Rome, to Great Britain, to the US, and as the US has begun losing its imperial power, DC has manifested in the world at Ephemerisle to bring the message of radical autonomy, freedom, and the power of decentralized action. DC represents the power of individuals working together in a DAO to create something that's never been created on Earth. He sees no limitations to the possibilities of 'homo decentralist' and he's a mirror for the power that exists within each individual he passes.
